Editorial plans

A plan turns a set of keywords into a scheduled calendar of articles — one article per page cluster, spread across working days. Plans let you build a whole content calendar up front and generate the articles on a schedule.

What plans do

A plan groups article ideas under a project and gives each one a scheduled date. You can generate items by hand whenever you like, or turn on scheduled generation so an active plan produces its articles automatically on their dates. Items show their status as they move from planned to generated to published.

Create a plan manually

  1. Go to Plans → New plan.
  2. Pick a project, give the plan a name, choose a type (14-day, 30-day, or custom), and set a start date (and end date for custom).
  3. Create it, then add items by importing keywords or generating them (below).

Import from CSV

The fastest way to fill a plan is from a keyword export (e.g. SEMrush):

  1. From Plans, choose Import CSV (new plan) — or open an existing plan and choose Import CSV to add to it.
  2. Drop in your CSV (max 10 MB). Terradium clusters the keywords into pages and previews them — one article per page, each with its keyword count and search volume.
  3. Pick the project, plan name, type, start date, and language for the whole plan, and whether to skip weekends.
  4. Create the plan (or add the articles). Items are scheduled one per working day.

Generate keywords

Don't have a keyword export? Let Terradium discover keywords for you:

  1. Open a plan and choose Generate keywords.
  2. Provide either seed keywords (comma- or line-separated) or a domain, then pick a market and language.
  3. Terradium discovers keywords, clusters them into topics, and turns each cluster into a scheduled article. A live timeline shows progress — keep the window open while it runs.
  4. Review the result (pages, keywords, article count), choose whether to skip weekends, and add the articles to the plan.

Native keyword generation is only available when your workspace has it enabled. If you don't see it, use Import from CSV instead.

Calendar & list views

A plan can be viewed two ways:

  • List — every item as a row with its title, date, primary keyword, status, and a Generate button.
  • Calendar — month grids with a colored dot per item. Click a day to see that date's items in a sidebar and generate them.

Each item links to its article once generated.

Plan statuses

A plan is Draft, Active, Completed, or Archived. Change the status from the plan header. Only active plans generate content automatically — draft and archived plans sit idle until you generate items by hand or activate them.

Scheduled generation

To let a plan run itself, two things must be true: the plan is Active, and the project has Scheduled generation turned on with a timezone and daily time (see Projects). Each day, items scheduled for that date generate at your chosen time. You can always generate any item early from the list or calendar.
